Ocean Lava Planet

Triathlon Poland Bydgoszcz Borówno is part of Ocean Lava Planet. Launched in 2014, this series of triathlon events was created to provide an alternative to the increasingly commercialized IronMan and Challenge events.

What sets it apart is that the races within the series are created by triathletes for triathletes. They are not focused solely on profit, but rather on giving every amateur athlete the chance to take part in a sporting celebration – a well-organized, family-friendly event with a unique atmosphere.

Today, the Ocean Lava Planet series comprises more than 20 races (over various distances) held in countries across Europe and Africa. It was founded by Kenneth Gasque, a Dane now living on Lanzarote in Spain, a triathlete (who has raced several times at the World Championship in Hawaii) and long-time organizer of Ironman Lanzarote.
